Hey guys, welcome to my new blog, 7 Days of Linux! Basically what I will be doing on this blog is documenting all sorts of goings on in the open source community (mainly foucusing on Linux, but will throw in some Unix, BSD, Android, WebOS etc. from time to time) including releases, summits, conferences, press releases and other such events and providing my own opinions on the subjects.
I will also be setting another YouTube channel up soon to provide demos of alphas, betas, RCs and final releases, here are some of the distros I hope to be looking at over the next few months:
Ubuntu 12.04-Precise Pangolin-Due out 26th April
Fedora 17-Beefy Miracle-Due out on Mayday
Debian 7-Wheezy-Due out sometime this year
Linux Mint 13-Due out in May (I think)
OpenSUSE 12.2-From what I can see due mid-2012
Anyway if you're not coming from my gaming blog you can get to it via here, there'll also be links to it around the blog and if you want to know more about me I am about to add a section as well as a brief portfolio I'll point to that when I'm done.
